About Kim

Kim Wigmore is a Partner at DWF Canada in Vancouver, called to the British Columbia Bar in 1995. He holds an LL.B. from Dalhousie University, a B.Sc. from the University of British Columbia and an LL.M. from the University of London. His practice covers a broad range of insurance litigation, including complex multi-party casualty and property loss claims, professional liability, construction, liquor liability and transportation matters, and he heads the firm's Transportation and Professional Liability groups. He is a past chair of the Canadian Bar Association's British Columbia Maritime Law Section and a director of the Canadian Transport Lawyers Association. He has been recognized in Best Lawyers in Canada for insurance, maritime, professional malpractice and transportation law since 2013, and was named a 2025 Lawyer of the Year for transportation law.
