About Stephen

Stephen Yung is the managing partner of Simpson, Thomas & Associates. His practice centres on dispute resolution, drawing on extensive experience with mediations, arbitrations, and matters before every level of court in British Columbia, up to and including the Court of Appeal. Stephen represents individuals and small business owners across commercial disputes, employment law, personal injury, estate litigation, commercial litigation, and insurance denial claims. He also manages the Lee Mong Kow Fund, a bursary program supporting students at the Victoria Chinese Public School and the University of Victoria. Stephen was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2002, holds an LLB from Dalhousie University (2001) and a Bachelor of Arts with distinction from the University of Victoria, and is fluent in Punjabi.
