About Kim
Kim Hardstaff is a partner at Liberty Law who has practised criminal defence since being called to the Alberta bar in 2008. She began her career as a legal assistant at the firm before completing her undergraduate degree and Bachelor of Laws, both with distinction, at the University of Alberta, then articled at the firm before her admission to the bar. She has represented clients throughout Alberta and British Columbia, as well as in the Northwest Territories, conducting trials ranging from theft to murder, with a particular interest in defending allegations of a sexual nature. Hardstaff has served as a criminal law panelist for the Legal Education Society of Alberta and has appeared on the criminal law panel for CTV's Alberta Primetime. During law school she volunteered with the Alberta Law Review editorial committee and with Student Legal Services, providing advocacy to low-income individuals.
