About Kevin

Kevin Gourlay is a partner at Murphy Battista LLP who acts on behalf of individuals who need help, often people injured through medical errors or other accidents, as well as clients who have been wrongfully denied insurance coverage, from losing their homes in a fire to being denied long-term disability benefits. While most of his cases settle, he takes cases to trial when the other side is unwilling to negotiate fairly, including matters involving life-changing brain injuries and chronic pain from accidents. Kevin earned his LLB from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC in 2007 and a BA from McGill University in 2003, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2008. He is a past president of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.
