About Preetka

Preetka Brar is the founder of Brar Law and provides legal services in Canadian immigration and citizenship law. Born in Punjab, India, she immigrated with her parents to Vancouver at age two and was raised and educated there, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology) and a Bachelor of Education from the University of British Columbia before obtaining her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta in 2006. Since her call to the bar in 2008, she practised as a civil litigator representing personal injury clients through trial, negotiation and mediation, before founding Brar Law to focus on Canadian immigration pathways, including judicial reviews of refused visa applications.
