Jess Hadley is a senior labour and employment lawyer who now specializes in investigating complex allegations of discrimination, bullying, harassment, workplace violence and other misconduct. She has more than 20 years of experience advising Western Canadian employers, unions and other organizations on human rights, privacy, workplace safety law and procedural fairness, and also offers workplace mediation and conflict coaching alongside her investigations. She holds a BA (Hons) in philosophy from Oxford University and an LLB from the University of Victoria, and is currently completing an LLM in Dispute Resolution at Osgoode Hall. Since 2024 she has focused exclusively on workplace investigations and dispute resolution, particularly in educational settings and unionized public sector workplaces. She serves as the Ethics Commissioner for the Hospital Employees' Union (HEU) and, from 2021 to 2025, served on the board of CIWA, a non-profit offering job training, language and childcare programs for immigrant women across Canada.
