About Kevin
Kevin is a senior advisor, litigator, and mediator with experience in major Aboriginal rights and title cases, multi-decade civil litigation matters, contract and employment issues, and estate and real property disputes. Prior to joining Ratcliff in 2005, he practiced law in Toronto and later operated his own law partnership in Salmon Arm, BC. His cases include Lax Kw'alaams Indian Band v. Canada, a 125-day commercial fishing rights trial in the BC Supreme Court. He is involved in community organizations in Salmon Arm and on the North Shore, particularly in sports, music and municipal planning. He earned his LL.B. from the University of Toronto, was called to the Ontario Bar in 1991, and the British Columbia Bar in 1994.
