About Ken

Ken Vimalesan is a partner at Scion Law, a firm Ken co-founded in 2022 to help clients understand and navigate the legal system. Ken advises on the full range of wills, estates, and trusts issues, including the validity of wills and trusts, curing or rectifying testamentary documents, wills variation under the Wills, Estates, and Succession Act, and the administration of estates and trusts. Ken acts for individuals and institutions in disputes regarding wills, trusts, and estate administration, representing clients at the British Columbia Supreme Court, the British Columbia Court of Appeal, and at mediations, and helps executors, trustees, and administrators apply for probate. Since 2016, Ken's work has centred on wills, estates, and trusts matters. Ken studied law at Dalhousie University and English literature at the University of British Columbia.
