About Amanda

Amanda Winters is a partner at Scion Law experienced in family law and estate litigation, including where the two areas intersect. She has represented clients at every level of court in British Columbia, in arbitrations, and in negotiated settlements. Amanda's family law practice focuses on later-in-life separations, often involving blended families, and she advises executors, administrators, and trustees on family law issues. In estate matters she represents beneficiaries, executors, administrators, and trustees, including in disputes involving complex corporate and trust structures and challenges to a person's status as a spouse. Amanda has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada as a leading practitioner in family law and estates and trusts, and contributes to CLEBC's Family Law Sourcebook as chapter editor for 'Testamentary Issues in Family Law.' Before joining Scion Law, she was a partner at a large regional law firm practising exclusively in family law and estate litigation.
