About Kayla

Kayla (she/her) advocates for employees in civil litigation and human rights matters before the BC Provincial Court, BC Supreme Court, the BC Human Rights Tribunal, and the Civil Resolution Tribunal. Before joining Victory Square she worked at a civil litigation firm handling wrongful dismissal and disability benefit disputes. She completed her law degree at the University of Victoria in 2018 and received the UVic Law Students' Society's Scales of Justice Award. She serves as co-chair of the board of NEED2, a youth suicide prevention non-profit, and volunteers with the Community Legal Assistance Society's Human Rights Law Clinic.
