About Kate
Kate Scallion practises in sports law, real estate, and estate planning, including dispute resolution, adjudication, case management, and advocacy in sports matters. She joined Jones Emery as an articled student in October 2019 and was called to the bar in 2020. She holds a JD (2018) and LLM (2020) from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, examining whether the Charter of Rights and Freedoms applies to the Canadian Anti-Doping Program, along with a BA in English from Carleton University (2007) and an MA in English from the University of Victoria (2009). She grew up in rural Nova Scotia.
