About Carlyn

Carlyn Easterbrook holds a BA in Humanities and Comparative Literature from McMaster University and worked abroad for several years, qualifying as an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa and a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. While in England, she was a Legal Director at a UK law firm, investigating and prosecuting financial misconduct by company directors and bankrupts on behalf of the Secretary of State. She returned to Canada in 2016, worked as a paralegal at the Legal Services Branch of the BC Attorney General's Office, then articled with Jones Emery in 2022. She now practises civil litigation, acting for plaintiffs in personal injury claims and undertaking ICBC defence work.
