About Kate
Kate Marples' practice focuses on trust and estate planning, personal and corporate tax planning, corporate reorganizations and charitable gift planning, routinely assisting clients with estate freezes and family trusts. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from UBC in 2001 and received her law degree with honours from the University of Ottawa in 2004, and was called to the Bar in British Columbia in 2005. She is a former adjunct professor at UBC's Peter A. Allard School of Law, where she taught Taxation of Trusts and Estates to upper-year JD and LLM students.
