About Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn Chewka joined Lovett Westmacott in 2019 after serving as legal counsel with the BC Ministry of Attorney General's Constitutional and Administrative Law Section, including a secondment as Crown Counsel with the Criminal Justice Branch. She practices administrative, human rights, privacy and constitutional law, and has defended the constitutionality of provincial legislation including the Motor Vehicle Act, the Child, Family and Community Service Act, and the Wildlife Act. Chewka is a contributing author to the CanLII BC Litigation Manual and, like her colleague Alandra Harlingten, is an adjunct professor at the University of Victoria co-coaching the Gale Cup moot team.
