About Kaila

Kaila Eadie is an Associate at JSS Barristers whose practice spans most areas of civil litigation, with a focus on corporate and commercial disputes, professional negligence claims, and employment matters. She joined the firm as an Articling Student in 2016 and was called to the Alberta bar in 2017, and has appeared before every level of the Alberta courts, including in domestic and international commercial arbitrations. As counsel to the Alberta Lawyers Indemnity Association, she regularly defends lawyers against professional negligence claims, and she also acts as provincial counsel to the Canadian Medical Protective Association. Kaila earned her JD with distinction from the University of Alberta in 2016 and her BA (Honours) from Queen's University in 2012. She volunteers with Calgary Legal Guidance, Pro Bono Law Alberta, and the Women's Centre of Calgary.
