About Justin

Justin Hewitt is a partner in Stewart McKelvey's St. John's office, representing businesses, organizations, and individuals on corporate, commercial, and real estate matters. His practice includes mining and natural resources work, such as advising lenders and mining companies on mine finance transactions, mineral rights, and regulatory matters, as well as advising renewable energy developers on project development. He also acts on acquisitions, dispositions, and financings of commercial real estate, and advises professionals such as physicians and veterinarians on incorporating their practices. Justin was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador bar in 2017. He holds a JD from the University of New Brunswick, a Mining Law Certificate from Osgoode Hall Law School, and a BA and Certificate in Public Administration from Memorial University of Newfoundland. He is a director of Mining Industry NL and of the YMCA of Newfoundland and Labrador.
