About June
June Mills is a lawyer at Goldblatt Partners who advocates for trade unions and faculty associations, from the bargaining table through to litigation. She represents unions in matters ranging from individual and policy grievances to challenges brought under section 2(d) of the Charter, working to help unions and faculty associations resolve disputes effectively. Before joining the firm, she practiced at a boutique labour and litigation firm in Halifax, appearing before administrative decision-makers and at every level of court in Nova Scotia, as well as at the Supreme Court of Canada. She completed the joint BCL/LLB program at McGill University, where she volunteered with the PINAY Quebec legal clinic assisting Filipino domestic workers with employment and immigration issues, and competed in the Wilson Moot, a national competition on equality rights under the Charter.
