About Julie
Julie Anderson practises securities and corporate and commercial law, focusing on negotiating commercial arrangements and advising public companies on securities compliance. She advises issuers across technology, asset management, and retail, and has worked on matters for Canadian and international clients, including technology service agreements for a major financial services company, digital platform and content licensing arrangements for a national media and telecommunications company, and compliance work for a U.S.-based retailer entering Canada. Julie joined the firm in 2012 to complete her articles, having earned her JD from the University of Toronto and her MBA from the Rotman School of Management, both in 2011. Before joining the firm, she worked in the legal department of UBS Global Asset Management. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2012.
