About Julia
Julia Hockin is a lawyer who was called to the bar in 2023 after earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa in 2022 and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Guelph in 2019, where she graduated with distinction. She gained experience at the Crown Attorney's Office in London, Ontario, and volunteered with the University of Ottawa Legal Aid Clinic. She has mentored young girls through Big Brothers Big Sisters and volunteered as a note taker for Accessibility Services. She belongs to the County of Carleton Law Association, the Toronto Lawyers' Association, and the Criminal Lawyers' Association.
