About Carlos
Carlos Rippell has practised exclusively in criminal law for well over a decade, successfully arguing cases at all levels of court in Canada, including the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as before professional disciplinary panels and the Ontario Review Board. His practice covers charges ranging from homicides and large-scale frauds to drug trafficking, sexual assault, and assault. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and a First Class Honours B.A. in History and Political Science from McGill University. While articling he was seconded to the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, reflecting his commitment to civil rights.
