About Judy

Judy Schoen practices family law and wills and estates at Burchell MacDougall's Halifax office, representing clients in civil litigation matters since her admission to the Nova Scotia bar in 1993, including appearances before the Court of Appeal, Supreme Court and Family Division. She is certified in Collaborative Family Law Resolution and is a past president of the Collaborative Family Law Lawyers of Nova Scotia. She favours settlement discussions where appropriate while remaining prepared for advocacy in court.
