About Jozef

Jozef Hadlaw-Murray is an associate and labour and employment lawyer at Shields O'Donnell MacKillop LLP, a management-side workplace law firm in downtown Toronto. He advises and represents employers across many industries on wrongful dismissal litigation, human rights and employment standards applications, labour arbitrations, workplace safety hearings, and workplace investigations, appearing before the Superior Court of Justice, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Supreme Court of Canada, and various tribunals and arbitrators. Before entering private practice he spent nearly ten years as a Human Resources professional with large private and public sector employers, which shapes his practical, solutions-focused approach. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2022 and holds a B.A. in Work and Labour Studies from York University and an LL.B. from the University of Leicester in the UK.
