About Hendrik
Hendrik is a partner at Shields O'Donnell MacKillop LLP whose practice covers a broad range of employment and labour disputes, from wrongful dismissal claims to human rights applications, labour arbitrations, workplace safety hearings and fiduciary matters. He has significant courtroom experience, having appeared at every level of court in Ontario including the Court of Appeal, in trials, appeals, arbitrations and injunctions. His client base cuts across many industries, among them manufacturing, financial services, banking, health care, publishing, entertainment, technology, retail, and the charitable and public sectors. He also writes and speaks often on workplace law, has co-authored two books, and sits on the board of the HRPA Toronto Chapter. Hendrik earned his law degree from Queen's University and clerked at the Ontario Divisional Court before joining the firm, and was called to the bar in 2006.
