About Josie

Josie Marks is a Partner who was called to the New Brunswick bar in 2010. Marks acts as lead counsel in complex matters before trial and appellate courts and works as a negotiator on interest-based and relational disputes. Marks represents clients in litigation involving Charter rights and other constitutional issues, and advises on commercial arbitrations, mediations, contract disputes, corporate and shareholder disputes, and bankruptcy and insolvency litigation. Marks also represents clients on public and regulatory law matters, including judicial reviews and appeals from boards, commissions and tribunals. Marks holds an LL.B. and B.C.L. from McGill University, was a Rhodes Scholar, and was named King's Counsel in 2024.
