About Charles

Charles Gordon has advocated on behalf of trade unions and workers in labour, human rights, and civil litigation for over twenty years, appearing before provincial and federal labour boards, arbitration panels, human rights tribunals, and all levels of court up to the Supreme Court of Canada. He has particular expertise representing unions in successorship disputes, novel human rights claims, and cases involving the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, including a human rights complaint that resulted in a $2.4 million award for foreign workers and a class action settlement worth $1.4 million on behalf of workers at Denny's restaurants. He has been with Koskie Glavin Gordon since 2001, becoming a partner in 2002, after six years as counsel for the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 115, and as senior counsel to the BC Labour Relations Board. Charles is a past president of the Canadian Bar Association's Labour Section.
