About John

John joined Patterson Law as a summer student in 2018 and 2019, returned as an articled clerk in 2020, and joined the Corporate/Commercial practice group after being called to the bar in June 2021. His work includes incorporating and structuring businesses, purchase and sale of businesses, mergers and acquisitions, shareholders' agreements, commercial leasing, and secured lending, including domestic and international borrowing and syndicated loans. Before his legal career, John worked as an Operations Analyst with an international trust company. He earned his J.D. from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2020 and a B.Comm. from Dalhousie in 2015.
