About Cristina

Cristina Borbely is a civil litigation associate whose work spans complex corporate and commercial litigation, regulatory and criminal matters, and internal and workplace investigations. She earned the Osgoode Advanced Certificate in Workplace Investigations in 2023 and previously practised at a leading international firm and a corporate and securities litigation boutique in Toronto. She holds a Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC, where she was part of the 2018 Jessup International Law Moot team that won the First Place Memorial Prize, and served as an associate editor of the UBC Law Review. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and is proficient in French, Spanish and Hungarian. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2020 and belongs to The Advocates' Society and the Criminal Lawyers' Association.
