About Joel

Joel A. Morris is a partner at Harper Grey practicing in the Health Law, Commercial Litigation, Professional Regulation, and Insurance Law groups, with a focus on professional liability, multi-party commercial litigation, insurance disputes, and administrative law. Morris graduated from UBC's Allard School of Law in 2010 after an Honours BA from Queen's University, then clerked at the BC Supreme Court in New Westminster and completed a judicial internship at the BC Provincial Court. Now an Adjunct Professor at UBC Allard teaching Ethics and Professionalism, Morris serves as the firm's LSLAP coordinator and Mentorship Partner and sits on the board of the Greater Vancouver Law Students' Legal Advice Society, and was ranked a regional leading lawyer in the Chambers Global 2026 Guide.
