Raj Samtani is a partner at Harper Grey with over thirty years of experience in medical malpractice and insurance litigation, having appeared at all levels of court including the Supreme Court of Canada. The practice advises physicians on audit procedures, coroners' inquests, and other medical-legal matters, alongside regulatory work on governance and ethical obligations. Samtani is a former adjunct professor at the University of British Columbia's Faculty of Law, teaching trial advocacy and health law, and earned an LLM specializing in Health Care Law from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2012. Recognized as Medical Negligence Lawyer of the Year in Vancouver by Best Lawyers Canada in 2025.
