About Jordan
Jordan A. Bank practises civil litigation with an emphasis on insurance defence, having defended clients in personal injury, motor vehicle, medical malpractice, property loss and construction, crop loss, human rights, contract dispute, class action, and professional negligence matters. He has extensive experience with insurance coverage disputes and has appeared before the BC Human Rights Tribunal, the Workers' Compensation Appeal Tribunal, the Federal Court, and all levels of court in British Columbia. Since 2019 he has taught Insurance Law at the Peter A. Allard School of Law and mentors junior associates and law students. He joined Guild Yule LLP in 2013 after clerking for six justices of the British Columbia Supreme Court, and has been recognized by Best Lawyers Canada in Insurance Law since 2022 and as a Litigation Star in the 2026 Benchmark Canada edition.
