About Alan

Alan Hutchison is a partner in Osler's Corporate Group and co-chair of the Mining Group, practising corporate finance, securities and corporate-commercial law with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. He also specializes in the mining sector, regularly advising public companies and securities dealers on financing transactions, including private placements and prospectus offerings, as well as takeover bids, corporate reorganizations and joint ventures. Alan advises public companies on stock exchange listing requirements, continuous disclosure obligations and other regulatory compliance matters. He has been recognized for his mining and corporate finance work in Chambers Canada, Chambers Global, the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and Best Lawyers in Canada.
