About Jodie

Jodie Gauthier practices labour, administrative, and human rights law on behalf of public and private sector unions, acting for union clients in labour arbitration, before provincial and federal tribunals, and at the BC Supreme Court. She advises on collective agreement interpretation, collective bargaining, workplace safety, disability benefits, and human rights. Jodie graduated from UBC Law in 2010 and has exclusively practiced union side labour law since being called to the bar, with particular interest in the labour rights of migrant workers and the impact of climate change on workers and unions. She is an active committee member with the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers and volunteers as a supervising lawyer for Pro Bono Students Canada. Jodie uses the pronouns she/her.
