About Julia

Julia Bell is associate counsel at Roper Greyell, practising in all areas of labour, employment, and human rights law. Based in Victoria, BC, she provides on-the-ground representation to clients on Vancouver Island as well as throughout the province, with particular focus on post-secondary sector work and workplace investigations. She has appeared before labour arbitrators and prepared submissions for all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada, and before joining Roper Greyell she articled at a national firm and clerked for seven justices of the BC Supreme Court. She holds a BA and a JD, both from the University of Victoria, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2017.
