About Joanna

Joanna MacDonald is building a broad litigation practice with a particular interest in corporate-commercial disputes, regulatory law, and insurance litigation. She studied law at Osgoode Hall Law School, where she earned several course prizes and was recognized for her research and writing. Through Osgoode's Community and Legal Aid Services Program she worked directly with clients, negotiated with Crown counsel, prepared matters for trial, and appeared regularly in court. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2024, holds a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School (2023), and a B.A. (Honours) in Criminology from the University of Ottawa (2018).
