About Andrew

Andrew Winton handles a broad range of commercial litigation, including corporate governance disputes, shareholder and contract litigation, with a particular focus on real estate and employment matters. He also has significant experience with insolvency and restructuring files. He regularly appears before Ontario courts, including the Court of Appeal and the Toronto Commercial List, as well as appellate courts elsewhere in Canada, and handles a substantial private arbitration practice for corporations, small businesses, and individuals. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2007 after clerking at the Court of Appeal for Ontario and earning his J.D. with Honours from the University of Toronto's Faculty of Law in 2006 and his B.A. with First Class Honours from McGill University in 1995. Outside his practice, he volunteers with a Toronto charity that helps homeless individuals move into permanent housing.
