About Jennifer
Jennifer R. Davidson is a partner at Deeth Williams Wall LLP and Co-Chair of its Technology Law Practice, focusing on technology, privacy, and cybersecurity law. She advises clients across the digital risk management lifecycle, from incident preparedness and risk assessment to breach response, ransomware negotiations, and regulatory compliance, and acts as breach counsel for public and private sector clients managing incidents nationally and internationally. Before law school she worked in public relations and tech development, which gives her a combined view of the legal, PR, and technical sides of a breach. Jennifer holds a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School and a BA in Social Anthropology from Dalhousie University, plus postgraduate diplomas in corporate communications and web development. She chairs the Data Protection Committee at the International Technology Law Association, is a past president of the Canadian Technology Law Association, and coached Osgoode's international IP mooting team for eight years.
