About Jennifer
Jennifer Maas has a solicitor's practice at SV Law focused on municipal, planning, and land development law, with related work in real estate. She acts for public and private clients, including municipalities, school boards, developers, and property owners, on matters such as land acquisition and disposition, Planning Act consents and severances, development agreements, commercial leasing, debenture financing, by-law drafting, and public procurement. She also advises on municipal governance and general procedural questions. Jennifer articled at SV Law before her call to the bar, holds an Honours B.Sc. in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph, and earned her J.D. from Western University. During her studies she worked as a research assistant in biomechanics and health law and policy, and she later co-chaired Western Law's Health Law Association.
