About Jeffrey

Jeffrey Moorley represents individuals and families across Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario in complex injury and insurance disputes, focusing on serious motor vehicle and highway litigation, including impaired driving collisions, commercial vehicle negligence, and catastrophic injury claims. Jeffrey's background in psychology informs their work on psychological and trauma-based claims, including PTSD, chronic pain, and traumatic brain injury with psychological overlay, and Jeffrey also handles long-term disability and accident benefits disputes. Since 2016 Jeffrey has coached law students at Lakehead University's Bora Laskin Faculty of Law for the OTLA Cup trial advocacy competition, work recognized with the Alumni Association's Exceptional Alumni Award in 2024. Jeffrey has represented clients in reported decisions including Percival v. Intact Insurance Company and Laferriere v. Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company. Jeffrey joined White Macgillivray Lester LLP in 2016 and became a partner in 2022, and Jeffrey was called to the Ontario Bar in 2015 after earning their Juris Doctor from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Lakehead University.
