About Dan

Dan Lester represents accident victims across Northern Ontario in plaintiff personal injury work, including motor vehicle and slip and fall claims, and Long Term Disability and CPP-Disability benefit denials. He has appeared before the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Justice, the Canada Pension Plan Disability Review Tribunal, the Social Security Tribunal, and Small Claims Court, representing clients throughout Thunder Bay, Dryden, Kenora, Sioux Lookout, and many First Nations communities. He articled with the Superior Court Judges of Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario and is a sessional professor at Lakehead University's Faculty of Law, teaching Legal Research and Writing and Civil Practice. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Brain Injury Association of Thunder Bay and Area, and in 2019 he received the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association's Martin Wunder, QC Outstanding New Lawyer Award. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2012 after earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice Public Policy from the University of Guelph.
