About Peter

Peter White has practiced personal injury and insurance law in Thunder Bay for over 20 years, after articling with a major firm in Toronto and working at firms in London, England. His litigation experience spans motor vehicle, motorcycle, and snowmobile accident claims, disability claims, slip and fall and other negligence matters, and he also has experience in employment law. He has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Ontario Court of Justice, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, and the Canada Pension Plan Disability Review Tribunal. Outside the office, he is active in the Thunder Bay community, having chaired a section of the United Way campaign, served on the boards of the Thunder Bay Historical and Museum Society and the city's Heritage Advisory Committee, and chaired the Lake Superior Ski District Cross Country board. He was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1994 after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Laws, both at the University of Victoria.
