Kristen Hamilton grew up in Cardinal, Ontario, and earned Honours Bachelor of Arts degrees in Law and Legal Studies and in Human Rights from Carleton University before moving north to attend Lakehead University's Bora Laskin Faculty of Law. She was the first in her family to attend law school, and she brings an emphasis on compassion and respect to her work with clients. She was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2019 and is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the Thunder Bay Law Association.
