About Jeff

Jeff Blucher is a partner in McInnes Cooper's Halifax office and leads the firm's Tax & Estate Planning Group, practising income tax, corporate law and wills, estates and trusts. He advises individuals, corporations and charitable organizations on business structuring, corporate reorganizations, and purchase and sale transactions, with particular experience in tax planning for small and medium-sized businesses and business succession planning. Jeff has significant experience forming Nova Scotia unlimited liability companies and reorganizing inbound corporate structures involving them, and has completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants' In-Depth Tax Course. He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and a past chair of the Canadian Bar Association's National Wills, Estates and Trusts Section. He earned his LL.B. from the University of New Brunswick in 1995 and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 1996.
