Milosz Zemanek is a partner combining project finance expertise with commercial acumen to help clients develop and finance major energy and infrastructure projects. He has broad experience across the full range of project finance participants, having represented lenders, sponsors, equity investors, arrangers, underwriters, and service providers, and he plays a leading role on large financings, including first-of-kind transactions in the energy sector. As head of Torys' Energy Storage Practice and a past chair of Energy Storage Canada, Milosz brings deep insight into energy storage developments in both Canada and the U.S., and he served as a director and board chair of Energy Storage Canada from 2016 to 2021. Before joining Torys, he worked as an investment banking associate at a Toronto independent dealer and held finance and information systems roles at several multinational companies.
