About Jean-Marc

Jean-Marc L. Eddie is a partner at Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall with a litigation practice covering commercial, employment, labour and insurance matters for individuals and businesses. He has appeared before all levels of court, including the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal, and the Quebec Superior Court and Court of Appeal. Eddie was for a number of years an adjunct professor at the University of Ottawa Law School teaching administrative law, civil procedure and labour law, and he instructed civil procedure at the Law Society of Upper Canada's Bar Admission Course. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 1992 and holds law degrees in both common law and civil law from the University of Ottawa, along with a political science degree from Université Laval.
