About Jason
Jason Lai practises corporate and commercial law at Kingsgate Legal, advising corporations, partnerships, and start-ups on incorporations, corporate maintenance, shareholder agreements, financing, business sales, reorganizations, and commercial agreements. He also assists with dispute resolution and has represented clients before courts in Alberta and British Columbia. Jason completed his Juris Doctor with distinction at the University of Alberta in 2017, after earning a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting with distinction from the same university in 2014, and was called to the Alberta bar in 2018. During law school, he volunteered with Student Legal Services and Pro Bono Law Alberta's Civil Claims Duty Counsel program.
