About Dennis
Dennis Schmidt, KC, is a corporate and commercial lawyer at Kingsgate Legal who advises businesses, entrepreneurs, and start-ups on contracts, real estate, leasing, and financing. He was previously a partner at a large international law firm and worked as in-house counsel for an Edmonton land developer and property management group. Dennis earned his LL.B. from the University of Alberta in 2001, an M.Sc. from the University of Calgary in 1998, and a B.Sc. from the University of Alberta in 1995, and was called to the Alberta bar in 2002. He has served as a director on several not-for-profit boards, including as past chair of the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce.
