About Alex

Alex Matthews practises commercial litigation, dispute resolution, and workplace investigations at Kingsgate Legal, with experience in construction, insurance, arbitration, employment, and contractual disputes. He also conducts workplace investigations covering fraud, harassment, discrimination, and code of conduct violations, and performs workplace culture assessments for public and private organizations. Before joining Kingsgate, Alex practised litigation and corporate commercial law at an international law firm. He completed his JD at the University of Alberta in 2018, after earning a B.Sc. in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences with distinction from the same university in 2014, and was called to the Alberta bar in 2019.
