About Ailsa

Ailsa McGurk assists clients with wills and estate planning, probate and estate administration, and adult guardianship and trusteeship matters. Before law school she earned a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and a Master of Science in Accessible and Inclusive Design, and worked for many years as an occupational therapist in Alberta and abroad. She later earned her law degree from the University of Calgary and, prior to joining Underwood Gilholme, ran her own practice aimed at making estate law more understandable and accessible. Ailsa is a member of the Canadian Bar Association's Wills and Estates and Business Law Sections and has presented seminars on estate planning through Chinook Learning Services.
