About Jonathan
Jonathan Ng assists clients with wills, enduring powers of attorney, personal directives, and trusts, and advises executors and attorneys on estate administration. He has appeared before the Court of King's Bench on applications to validate non-compliant wills, vary trusts, and address family maintenance and support, and has provided seminars to organizations including the Canadian Association of Gift Planners, CARP, Kerby Centre and Hull Services. Jonathan is a member of the Canadian Bar Association's Wills & Trusts Section and the Estate Planning Council of Calgary, and co-instructs the Wills & Estates course at the University of Calgary's Faculty of Law, where he earned his law degree and received the Grant McKibben Prize. Before law school, he worked as a chemical engineer at a multinational pulp and paper company after completing a Bachelor of Engineering & Society at McMaster University. He was called to the Ontario and Alberta bars in 2013.
