About Andrea
Andrea Blonsky completed her Mathematics and Law degrees at the University of Alberta and was admitted to the Alberta bar in 1985. She was an associate with a major Edmonton firm before relocating to Calgary in 1997, where she has practiced since. Her practice focuses on estate planning, including wills, enduring powers of attorney and personal directives, along with elder advocacy and estate administration; her background in corporate and real estate law informs her work on estate matters involving land and corporate interests. Andrea is an advocate for plain language in legal drafting, has served with the Canadian Bar Association's Plain Language Section, and has taught Will Drafting and Legal Writing and Drafting courses for the Legal Education Society and the Alberta Bar Admission Program.
